Rabbi Jared Anstandig

Rabbi Jared Anstandig and Rabbanit Sarit Ben David

Rabbi Jared Anstandig served as AAOM's Rabbi from 2018-2021.  A native of West Bloomfield, Rav Anstandig was ordained at Yeshiva University, where he also earned Bachelor’s degrees in Judaic Studies and Biblical Studies and a Master’s degree in Bible. Prior to coming to Ann Arbor, he completed rabbinic internships at the Lincoln Square Synagogue in New York, Kesher Israel in Washington,  DC, and Congregation Shaare Tefilah in New Jersey. Previously, Rabbi Anstandig taught in Talmud and Bible at Ramaz Upper School, a Modern Orthodox day school in Manhattan. Rabbi Anstandig also served in the Chaplain Corps in the US Army Reserve.
